An opal doublet is a slice of natural white opal adhered to a dark backing - made to look like the rare and valuable black opal. Due to the nature of their construction we recommend to not wear opal doublets or triplets in water. This is a mosaic doublet - small chips are affixed together to form a full face of opal.
